It's crazy to think that 10 years ago, I had my own senior photos taken. I remember dreading every moment of it... I had just learned to love photography and had a camera of my own, I started identifying as a "photographer" at the time, so being in front of the camera was not something I wanted to do. It was so different from the work I did with Taryn, I was in the backyard of a studio, there were little sets for me to pose at and it all felt so unnatural.
When Taryn reached out to me for her senior photos, I was so excited. It had been a few years since I did senior portraits, so it was great to get back into it. We met in Delaware Park and started shooting, the first 10 minutes are always a little uncomfortable for every client, but once we passed that point and started having fun with it, the images started to shine, as did Taryn! We adventured around the park and walked over to the Albright Knox. It was a lovely Fall afternoon which perfect balanced light for the photos!
