I have to be honest and say, I absolutely did not know what to expect when it came to Ashley and David's wedding - it's not a bad thing, but being hired for a wedding on a Thursday was definitely out of the ordinary. Besides that, we were originally contracted to shoot at La Galleria... but this was before the Buffalo Bills schedule came out, and everything changed when the Thursday night pre-game was scheduled for the same day at Ralph Wilson Stadium right behind the venue. The wedding moved to the lovely Lancaster Country Club. On the day of the wedding, rain was not in the forecast for most the afternoon, but as it seems the go, it came pouring down out of no where right before the ceremony! Thankfully Ashley was in such high spirits, she was absolutely okay with the ceremony being moved inside and was looking forward to a rain photo with her future husband under an adorable umbrella - but as luck would have it, the rain cleared as they said "I do" and there was no longer a chance for the rain photo! Haha! We'll take what we can get!
After the ceremony, we had such a blast riding around the golf course in the provided golf carts, finding lovely areas that were private for the couple to feel comfortable as I captured a few posed photos. It was a perfect evening once the clouds and rain cleared away! The rest of the night was a party... as you can see from the photos below.
Probably the best Thursday night I've had in a long time!
