Notting Hill Farm puts a modern twist on the classic barn wedding venue. This gorgeous wedding venue in the Buffalo area. It has everything you could want for your ceremony, reception, and magical photos. Caroline and Matthew’s Notting Hill Farm wedding was complete with elegant blue and white details. They set the stage for an unforgettable celebration.

A Notting Hill Farm Wedding

When you arrive at Notting Hill Farm, you’ll notice that it feels like the fields and woods go on forever. You really get the sense that you’re in your own private oasis at a Notting Hill Farm wedding. There's a good reason for that. The venue is located on a 200-acre working farm.

Some wedding venues give you a pretty cookie cutter experience. Notting Hill Farm gives you choices to tailor your wedding to you. You have three options for ceremony sites when you’re designing your Notting Hill Farm wedding.

  • The Main Ceremony Lawn is lined with towering trees. It gives you the sense that you’re exchanging vows on the edge of the woods. It’s organic and beautifully wooded.

  • The Front Ceremony Lawn is intended for weddings with fewer than 140 guests. Caroline and Matthew held their ceremony here. You can see the gorgeous view of hills and valleys stretching out beyond it.

  • The Covered Patio is Plan B for rainy wedding days. It’s pretty enough to be Plan A, though. Strings of lights make the space very cozy.

Receptions take place in the beautifully renovated barn. Wood beams and modern chandeliers put emphasis on craftsmanship and architecture. The barn is also fully climate controlled – important on steamy summer days!

Notting Hill Farm is located in South Wales, New York. It’s only about a half hour drive from Buffalo, but it has a very rural atmosphere. This area southeast of the city is so scenic. You can enjoy the landscape just about any time of year.

The ceremony and reception florals looked so organic at Notting HIll Farm. They did a lot to elevate the feeling of the day. White and pale blue blooms decorated either side of their minimalist white wedding arch. At the reception, blue hydrangeas, white roses, and other flowers brought nature inside. It gave the whole venue the ambiance of an English garden party.

This blue and white color scheme worked perfectly for Caroline and Matthew’s Notting Hill Farm wedding. It took place in summer and had a fresh, vibrant feeling. It’s easy to imagine how beautiful warm red and gold florals would look here when the leaves change in the fall.

Caroline and Matthew’s Fun Reception

Caroline and Matthew rounded out their Notting Hill Farm wedding with an amazing reception. Before they made their entrance, though, we headed out into the fields for a quiet sunset. They danced and kissed, soaking up the newlywed bliss in the endless landscape. We weren’t out there long. These sunset photos still tell you so much about the romance between Caroline and Matthew.

The reception was definitely one for the books! Notting Hill Farm’s barn was so elegant and inviting. After speeches and a sweet cake cutting, everyone hit the dance floor. Caroline and Matthew’s guests came to party! I loved photographing them getting down to their favorite songs.
