In 2018, I saw that my favorite local photographers were offering a 1 home mentoring course on posing couples or families. I wanted to transition into more couples photography and decided to invest in myself and meet / learn from my favorites! Turning our private mentoring session, I met Jenna and Jayson who were our lovely and carefree couple. They were the best, taking direction so easily and being patient with me, who was learning on the spot!
Since then, Jenna has kept up with my Instagram page and entered a few giveaways I held, that was until pre-pandemic 2020, she won a couples session for her and Jayson! I was so thrilled to be working with them again, knowing how natural they were in front of the camera! We decided on both an in-home session and backyard cocktails, we definitely ended up going overtime because this sun was just perfect and so were the two of them!
I think these photos speak for themselves! The perfect summer at-home date night with cocktails, a pup and a hammock! I just love how these turned out and am so grateful to have this beautiful couple in my life 😍
